privacy
plain truth about your notes.
tiny signals for teachers was built by an early childhood educator for the quiet work that happens after pickup. the rules are short on purpose, and this page is written to match what the site actually does, not what sounds nice.
where the notes live
browsing the site without signing in keeps quick tools (drafts, captures, drdp scratch work) in this browser only. signing in with google or an email turns on a saved profile: child first names, birthdays, allergies, family contacts, classroom notes, and observations are stored in a private cloud database tied to that teacher account, so they show up on any device that signs in.
when something does leave the browser
tapping print, tapping send, or pasting into another app is a deliberate move by the teacher. when notes are sent through email or shared with a family, they travel through whatever service that family or school uses, not through tiny signals.
what the ai sees
generating notes, behavior guides, drdp drafts, and incident reports sends the typed input to an ai model so it can write back. only the text typed into the form is sent. it is not stored with names attached, and it is not used to train models or sold to anyone.
what is never sold or shared
tiny signals for teachers does not sell, rent, or share teacher input or child information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing. there is no tracking pixel for ads.
cookies, accounts, and the basic activity log
the password gate sets one small token in the browser so the site stays unlocked between visits, and records each unlock (timestamp, browser user-agent, referring page, no name or email) so the educator running this knows roughly how many people are using it. signing in creates a teacher account (name, email) used only to save your own classroom work. a notification is sent to the educator when a new gate unlock or sign-up happens. no ad networks, no third-party analytics.
how to wipe everything
for browser-only work (drafts, captures, the unlock token), clear site data in any browser. for a signed-in account and the cloud-saved students, notes, and conferences, send a message with the form below and the account plus every row tied to it will be deleted by hand.
questions or a request to delete something
use the form below. it goes straight to the educator who built this. no public address to scrape, no mailing list.
