add to your home screen
tiny signals lives in your browser. you can add it to your phone or tablet home screen so it opens with one tap, full screen, like a regular app. nothing to download.
iphone or ipad (safari)
- 1open tinysignalsforteachers.com in safari. the built-in browser is the only one that can install to home screen on ios.
- 2tap the share button at the bottom of the screen (or the top on ipad).
- 3scroll and pick add to home screen.
- 4keep the name as tiny signals (or shorten it) and tap add. the icon lands on your home screen.
android (chrome)
- 1open tinysignalsforteachers.com in chrome.
- 2tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- 3pick add to home screen or install app.
- 4confirm. the icon shows up next to your other apps.
computer (chrome, edge, safari)
in chrome or edge, look for an install icon in the address bar on the right, or open the browser menu and pick install tiny signals. on mac safari, use file > add to dock.
a couple of notes
- you stay signed in on the home-screen version the same way you do in the browser.
- tiny signals still needs the internet to work. this is a shortcut, not an offline download.
- updates show up automatically the next time you open it, nothing to reinstall.
